16th August | 1-5pm
Survey workshop with Mike Kendall.
Meet at Stoer Village Hall. We will be out all afternoon.
FREE all welcome
For the seashore enthusiast and the novice with a passion for sea life, a workshop in identifying seashore animals and seaweeds, with training in recording and monitoring skills. Free survey packs will be given to each participant, which will include identification keys, survey sheets, recording and record submission guidelines, and basic survey equipment.

Never before has monitoring been more important and individual contributions of records been more appreciated. From this training course participants will have a chance to join the Highland Seashore Network of recorders with access to survey materials, a newsletter, support from a local seashore expert to help verify records and further training events.

You will need warm and waterproof clothing. Wellingtons or waders are essential.

It is recommended that a reasonable level of fitness is required as there will be uneven and slippery terrain to navigate. Please note for over 16 year olds
