Fergie MacDonald
Fergie Macdonald formed his very first band in 1955 and is credited with introducing ceilidh music to the world, with radio and television performances and produced 35 albums. In 2014, Fergie’s song “The Shinty Referee” reached number 1 in the World iTunes Charts. The first traditional music artist in Scotland to do so.

Linda Macleod:
Originally from North Uist in the Western Isles, Scottish Gaelic singer Linda Macleod has spent many years researching and performing Gaelic songs associated with her family and native homeland. Linda is self-employed between Gaelic media presenting on BBC Alba, children’s literary and singing sessions, Gaelic teaching, singing and song research.

Ruairidh Cormack
Ruairidh, is from the Isle of Skye and grew up surrounded by Gaelic song in his family. He won the coveted Men’s Traditional Gold Medal at the Royal National Mod in Inverness 2014.
