Wild Plants in the Scottish Landscape

14th July | 10.30am 3.30pm
Miles of heather? There’s more to it than that!

Spend a day with Davie Black of Plantlife Scotland exploring some of the commonplace and special plants that you may see.

We will have a short indoor talk then head outside to look in more detail at what is growing in the woodlands, moorlands and grasslands of north-west Scotland, with a brief introduction to the National Plant Monitoring Scheme.

There is no charge for the event but donations are welcome.
Anyone wishing to attend should bring their own packed lunch and drink. Suitable outdoor clothes and footwear is essential
