Suilven

Suilven may be only 731 metres high, but its unique outline, challenging remoteness and superlative views make it one of the finest mountains in Britain.

There are a number of routes to reach suilven - all involving a walk of several hours - usually from Glencanisp, Inverkirkaig or the longest route from Elphin (although it is possible to kayak much of the way from Elphin).

The climb up to the ridge is steep, but well worth it.

Any route will to the top will reward you stunning views...
