Quinag

For many Qunag is their favorite mountain in Assynt. There are many tops - with interesting ridge walks between them. Each top has a different view - over assynt, out to sea or north to Kylesku and the other sutherland mountain.

To complete all the tops involves a rewarding day on the mountain - it is possible to just make some of the tops - but don't miss Sail Gharbh is the highest of the three Corbett summits of magnificent Quinag. It lies out on the traverse ridge that leads east from the main spine of the mountain.

Quinag, and the estate around it, is owned by the John Muir Trust.
