Woodland Artisan - Introduction to Knife Carving

An opportunity to learn the basic knife carving techniques as Chris leads you through the process of carving and decorating a wand. You will be introduced to some of the different carving knives available and shown how to use them safely as you progress through the different stages of making a wand. There’s also a chance to try chip carving and a quick look at sharpening a knife. This is a friendly, relaxed and fun course suitable for all levels of ability. All tools and materials supplied. Once you’ve learnt the basic knife carving techniques you may find you catch the whittling bug!

Suitable for ages 11 and above. Under 18’s accompanied by an adult
