Fearna Cottage

Set on the shores of Lochan Fearna our newly built cottage is great for families wanting to get away from it all and have a relaxing holiday. Child and dog-friendly. With great walks direct from the cottage and an abundance of wildlife in the surrounding area. Deer roam the adjoining hills and feed close by the house. Otters, seals, porpoises and minke whale are spotted along the shoreline.

The area is a haven for birdlife. Golden eagles, buzzards, hawks and numerous small birds are seen in the locality.

Fearna cottage is a bright modern very spacious single-storey cottage situated on our private estate in a stunning location right on the shores of Lochan Fearna. Our cottage is located amidst the unbelievably picturesque landscape of North West Sutherland surrounded by lochs, hills, and superb pristine beaches.

​

The living room has a warm welcoming log burning stove with starter pack, large TV/DVD player and patio doors that drink in the amazing views down  Lochan Fearna to see Canisp and Quinag in the distance.

​

The kitchen/dining room is extremely well equipped with integrated appliances and a large dining table for up to 8 guests.

​

There are 4 bedrooms 3 of which have kingsize beds & 2 have en-suite shower rooms, 1 bedroom has twin beds and there is a family size bathroom with bath and shower.

​

Electric, linen and towels & Wifi (not superfast) are included please bring your own beach and dog towels.

​

It is a No Smoking house.

​

This delightful cottage is superbly presented throughout and provides a very good standard of accommodation in a truly magnificent and private setting.

We also run a small trout fishery. Visitors are welcome to fish the numerous hill lochs for wild brown trout free of charge. The fishery is stocked with rainbow trout and is available on a day ticket basis.
