‘Linga’ is a timber-built chalet occupying an elevated and secluded position overlooking the lovely bay of Inverkirkaig near Lochinver. From the lounge windows, one looks across the bay towards a wooded hillside and the mouth of the River Kirkaig, famous for its salmon fishing. The ebbing and flowing of the tides provide for a constantly changing scene, and, on sunny evenings, whatever the season, the setting sun transforms the bay and shoreline with a gorgeous warm light which is almost magical.
The chalet provides accommodation for four persons and is fully equipped, including bed linen and towels. There is double glazing throughout, and electric storage heaters ensure that the living area and bathroom are maintained at a comfortable temperature in the cooler seasons of the year. Both bedrooms have wall-hung convector heaters. A telephone is available for incoming and emergency calls, and the chalet has wi-fi access. Electricity charges are included in the rental. Please note that the chalet is a strictly non-smoking establishment, and we regret that we do not accept pets.
