Wild Birds

Along the banks of River Kirkaig you can see Grey Wagtails, Tree Pipits, Dippers, Red-Breasted Mergansers & Eider Ducks.

 

At Culkein Stoer you may see Whimbrel, Ringed Plovers, Turnstones, Sanderlings and you never know your luck you may turn up a rarity such as a Grey Phalarope, Black-tailed Godwit, Ruff or Curlew Sandpiper.

At Inchnadamph you may see Merlin, Grey Wagtails and Golden Plover. Ring Ouzels also breed here.

Kylesku is a great place to see Eider Ducks and Arctic Terns.

At Stoer Lighthouse you could see nesting Kittiwakes, Fulmars, Ravens, Peregrines and Great Skuas.
